About the BCCC
The Bass Coast Cycle Challenge is a cycling event, connecting community and enhancing health and wellbeing, while making our roads safer for all.
It is one of the most spectacular rides in Victoria, and attracts cyclists - both serious and recreational - to the stunning beach town of Inverloch for what’s become known as the “friendliest, chilled event vibe” on the cycling calendar.
With five ride choices through Bass Coast and South Gippsland, there is something for all ages and rider levels. You can cruise or challenge yourself with hills, the coast or both over either 40km, 53km, 85km, or 121km and our ~100km gravel ride for those keen to go off the beaten track!
For over 16 years, the Bass Coast Cycle Challenge has brought riders together. Whether you’re chasing a PB, challenging yourself or simply enjoying the ride with friends, it’s a day about cycling, wellbeing, connection and community, with a purpose that goes well beyond the finish line.
By taking part, you’re also helping support road safety education for local young people. The BCCC has enabled more than 3,800 students across Bass Coast and South Gippsland to participate in vital road safety education, giving them valuable knowledge and skills to make safer choices on our roads.
