Coordinator of BCCC Volunteers wanted
Are you passionate about community, and have some time to lend a helping hand to the BCCC? Then read on!
The BCCC would not be a reality if it wasn’t for our volunteers who make it happen. From the BCCC committee who meticulously plan the event, to the event day volunteers who manage traffic, food stations, first aid and more, we are forever grateful.
In 2022 we’re looking for someone to help us (the committee) coordinate our amazing volunteers. Working under the guidance of the BCCC committee, we would need you contact local community groups to seek volunteers for our 2022 event, assign volunteer duties for event day, and manage volunteers on the day (Saturday 5 November).
Each year we aim for around 50 volunteers, but the more the merrier! Past events have seen volunteers from groups including: Wonthaggi Life Saving Club, Inverloch and Wonthaggi Lions Clubs, Bass Coast Triathlon Club, Lynton Clay Photography, BUGS (Bicycle User Groups) from Phillip Island, Rotary Clubs - Inverloch & Leongatha, Coastal Crewzers cycling group, Leongatha Cycling Club, Inverloch Soccer club, Connections Christian church Inverloch.
If you have an interest in helping out, and you can spare around 1 hour a month (July-Oct), plus around half a day on event day (5 November), please email us at: bccyclechallenge@gmail.com
