Gippsland Life -the heartbeat of our region
Gippsland Life …. it’s the magazine that all locals and visitors love, and we are so proud and honoured to have their ongoing support for the Bass Coast Cycle Challenge.
Owner and editor, Doug Pell has continued his incredible support of our event through editorial coverage and photography, and also for the fourth year running, donated a fantastic prize for one male and one female rider over 60 years young.
The BCCC routes are a popular choice for riders over 60 years of age, and two riders in this age bracket, will be in with a chance to win $250 on event day.
Doug says that supporting the community, and encouraging people of all ages to explore the region, is critical.
“The Bass Coast Cycle Challenge is a great day out, and it gives back to our local community. We support the event, and especially riders over 60, because it’s a fantastic region to explore by bike, and this is a great event to do that!” He said.
“Doug and Gippsland Life have supported the BCCC since its inception and we are extremely grateful for the generosity and coverage given to this event. In previous years this prize encouraged many over 60s to enter and we hope it will again this year.” Said event founder Gavin Slavin.
“Thanks again to Doug and Gippsland Lifestyle for supporting this event and our fantastic and game changing charity.”
